Failed recipes in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter remake have their own battle mechanic now. The animations are hilarious! According to the site: "Upon failing to cook a dish, Attack Food will be created on occasion. In battle, Attack Food can be used to deal damage to enemies."

Today I learned thanks to Zamu that Melee characters have shadows & the angle of the shadows is different on every stage. I also figured out that Nana does not have a shadow. This is because she is a vampire without a soul who sucks out your opponent's will to play this matchup.

since someone has already uploaded it, I'll show it here too. its custom level sequence for moveset mod. This moveset mod isn't entirely my own work, ( wip with AwerQxcv ) and I didn't want to share it until it was fully finished. So, I uploaded a short clip to the Discord server just to motivate other modders. However, someone went ahead and edited and uploaded it right away. They did include credit in the video I saw—which I appreciate—but as I mentioned earlier, it wasn't a finished "moveset mod" of my own, and I hadn't wanted it shared yet; I had only briefly shown it on Discord.

Scroll-triggered animations are coming to Chrome early next year (and we've been really excited about this one for a bit!) 🥳 Unlike scroll-driven animations (already in Chrome & Safari), this API introduces "timeline-trigger" and "animation-trigger" to start an animation within a specific range, rather than relying on the scroller completion *as* the animation timeline. I got nerd-sniped and wanted to try it out so I built this shape morphing demo to show how you can apply multiple animations to the same element over with different triggers. PRETTY COOL IMO! Bramus has a post with more info ⬇️

Did some experimenting and figured out the workflow for AI design transformations: Start with a base image of a room with no furniture. Then prompt on Nano Banana Pro to add what you'd like (e.g. a cool door frame, loft, or pool). Take to Veo 3.1 as your start and end frames. Prompt: "time lapse construction, fast motion as a construction workers bring a tree into the living room and then construct the loft and add the couch and lights."

For the facial animations in my game, I use a technique that yields results similar to L.A. Noire. To keep it simple: I first generate a facial animation video using AI like LTX 2. Then, I create a video depth map from that animation and project it onto a face mask. Using vertex displacement, the depth map dynamically deforms the face as the character speaks. The result looks good in standalone VR. I actually created this workflow long time ago:

We've FINALLY figured out exactly how to get the Spider Fang Relic on Astra Malorum. To get the portal for relic, you need to land the killing blow on O.S.C.A.R with a Melee Attack on Round 40+ while Wisp Tea is active and locked onto him. Note: You need to be playing Cursed mode at Tier I or higher. There is a more detailed guide with tips and specifics attached below. Aswell as two videos below from one of the Members of the ZoneX community showcasing exactly how to get the portal for the Relic.

As the right wing media pushes for Biden to comment on the Trump indictment, of which he has absolutely NO influence over, Biden opts to give "no comment". This is how leaders operate.
