His skin is also in rough shape, likely connected to a thyroid condition, signs that his body has been struggling for a long time❤️‍🩹 But It’s amazing what a soft bed, good food, fresh air and love can do. Max curled up on his blanket surrounded by toys like a child who finally feels safe. He gathers plush toys ALL AT ONCE in his mouth, plays fetch with anything he can find, and wags his tail a little more every day 🥹 he’s still a baby at heart. Sometimes he pauses while eating…because he doesn’t want to miss a single second of love or belly rubs from his angel foster mom Victoria 🙏🏼🥲 And the sweetest thing of all… When she pets him, Max gently holds her hand, as if he’s asking not to leave🥺 Despite everything he has been through, his heart is nothing but love.
