I really relate to this. Once you lose respect it's very hard to stay in love. I think for women they are tied together. Basically, respect is to women what a good ass is to men. I say the quiet part out loud.😉

Why did God command the Husband to Love his wife. . .& the Wife to Respect her husband when it is not in their nature to do it?

A big issue is communication. If you lost the respect of your woman, there's a reason that happened. Women aren't just waking up one day and realizing their man is a loser. There has to be communication and accountability for mistakes on both sides. Otherwise you'd never fix a relationship. If I screw up I want my woman to tell me so I can be better for her. If she screws up I offer her the same. That's where respect comes from. You listen and you adjust for their needs.

So true. There is no one I respect more than my husband. He is the hardest worker I know, provides for me and our beautiful children. He doesn’t clock out when he gets home from work. He’s intentional with his time with our kids and me. He is a king in this house. He doesn’t have to demand respect. He earns it by showing up for us. Every day. In return, I am cherished, loved, and adored by him.

I need to stop watching these videos because this is my story during the last couple years of my marriage and it literally broke me and although I'm doing a lot better now, I still have moments and today/tonight and this holiday season has hit me hard 😞😩

Men ... must behave in a way that brings respect. All these silly videos imply that men do the right thing ... loving & giving himself for his wife & family, as Christ did. From what I've observed, that rarely happens. Too many men excuse themselves ... blaming their wives.

I know this from personal experience. My first wife started disrespecting me and I lost all interest in her.
