1. I'm more worried that the incumbent president and incumbent politicians have spent the greater part of the last year protecting actual pedophiles. 2. If you don't believe the age of consent should be 10 or 11, then there are age of consent laws that you disagree with. As it turns out, discussing the ethics behind the age of consent laws doesn't equate to being a pedophile. The above-mentioned pedophiles have no concerns for changing those laws, after all. 3. Are you suggesting it's licit to abandon principles because there are people who take the name associated with those principles but are yucky and you don't like them? Are you going to abandon Christianity next on account of mainline woke protestantism and Catholic modernism?

So, pushing the opinions of the current crop of self-designated "libertarians" on me as representative of the philosophy, is not going to be convincing (actually, I think it's kinda lazy). But no doubt you'll easily convince the ignorant.

Nothing really prepares you

Yeah, it was wild. We went in 2014 and 15. I remember there being a midnight bike ride the first night, and I was creeped out bc there were lots of children on the ride. LOTS. After learning some of the shit we've learned since 2016, now I am saddened and disgusted by it. I wonder what happened to those poor kids after that night.

You see this a lot from people who basically think everyone should be free but only to do things they personally approve of. Basically no freedom at all. If they're not in power, it seems like they're advocating for freedom, but if they're in power, it becomes clear they aren't.

I don't give a fuck what other people do as long as they aren't harming others or hindering their freedom.
