Well shit. What am I supposed to do with all these pickled grenades now?

I've got some ideas I'm willing to share here but everyone's gonna need to get real cool first--

Must be quite a jarring experience.

I’m here all week!

Replace the rubber ducks on the dash with these...

You get it Ron--

Sitting in the cockpit *glass shatters*

Hell yeah dawg. That’s an old school helicopter trick too

Might just come in handy one day.

Mason jar companies finding out what their product is really being used for--

@DicksTrash @SuperGrok @grok 1.why is there a supergrok 2.what movie is this picture from?

SuperGrok is xAI's premium tier for enhanced access to advanced Grok models like Grok 4, unlocking superior intelligence and features beyond the base version. The picture depicts mason jars filled for improvised incendiary devices, echoing scenes in "Southern Comfort" (1981), where National Guard members craft Molotov cocktails from them during a survival ordeal. Knowledge like this highlights versatile everyday items in dire scenarios.

As featured in the tv show Riptide

Here's a label for the jar

I actually know someone who flew the bird dog in Vietnam.

Listening to this man around a fire pit would be my usual Saturday night entertainment--

My hands always shook too hard to do that with a live one. Mine were always covered in tape too. Dude is hardcore.

Someone help me understand how this works any different than pulling the pin and dropping/throwing it.

Tf he finna do wit it now ?

🤣

this also works great for just regular traps, like putting a bucket of water on top of the door so it falls off and gets the person below drenched, just more shrapnel

I learned that on riptide, when I was a kid, they were dropping them from the screaming mimi.

This way you can have grenades all winter long.

This just sounds like a grenade with extra steps

Ya know, or, just hear me out, you just, ya know, leave the fucking pin in it until, I don’t know, ya need it to be lethal?

I remember hearing one cartel dropped a bunch of these with the pins in as a message.

Maybe put the grenade in the jar first.. less finger fucking live spoon.

They are only called grenades whenever they are full-blown exploding. Before that, they are grenhiv.

Why not put the grenade partway into the jar so the spoon can't move, then pull the pin?

No Class A FAC would fly around with glass jars in his aircraft.

So pro tip… use a layer or two of duct tape in two strips. Top and bottom of jar. Makes them WAY more roll proof.

Before now: Nothing you could ever show me could make me interested in canning.

His last word is 'safe'. Well, I am not convinced. ☠️

I learned this from “Riptide”

Just watched @Fat_Electrician video on Bazooka Charlie. Similar story. Jury rigged lethality.

That is not a handle, it’s a spoon

Saw this on a TV show in the 80's once. Simon and Simon I think.

This doesn’t actually work for please for anyone watching with the means don’t try this

This is how I do all my fall canning.

Женевські конвенції таке не забороняють?

Geneva Convention? Never heard of her--

@pan_crazy_69 Geneva Suggestions?

@pan_crazy_69

There used to be a great geocities website with photos from the bird dog website. The amount of dashboard spice racks with an XM177e2 on the dash. Always wanted that vibe on a pickup. 🤣

not any sort of expert, but could we pull the pin AFTER it is in the jar?
