As the mom of an incredibly sassy 8 year old daughter with Down Syndrome and autism. this melted my frozen heart. Children like this used to be hidden away. I’m so blessed that we now live in a world where Down Syndrome isn’t seen as some horrific tragedy.

Happy 3rd birthday! Lost my special little bother 2 years ago. He smiled until the end. My best friend for 64 years.

And just like that I think 2023 is going to be ok. Give her a high five for me. Awesome! Gotta run, something in my eye.

We had our daughter in our late 30’s. They wanted to do an amniocentesis test on my wife to see if “downs“ was a possibility. We chose not to have the test, because…. well look at the video. No matter what the test said we knew we would not terminate the pregnancy.
