What’s the ratio of the consecutive line segments? The golden ratio? Or does it matter?

Now try this one.

All you need is just infinitely many moving joints.

This is also Earth's helical trajectory through space.

Fourier 😉

#ART bookmarked✅

@grok represent this animation with math

I’ve seen this ride at the fair I think…

we need a rollercoaster that does this

You can draw any closed curve this way. The rule is that at any given time all joints are bent by the same angle. For any closed curve there is a choice of segment lengths that draws it - in fact infinitely many such choices, each draving the curve with differently varying speed!

yeah i always do it like that too

This is how I draw a circle everyday 😗

Circles are the universe showing off. Infinite symmetry, zero corners, endless return. Watching one born clean like this? Pure math meditation. So beautiful!

2n sin (π/n)?

Ciąg bonifacego. #hrejterzy @HRejterzy

Looks mildly profane

Is this just me, or everyone can hear a specific music for this?

@Inaki_Huarte Now do another one, where we see the paths traced by all the vertices. Are they all circles?

How you represent this mathematically?

No

Ptolemy-ass circle.

I truly don't get it.

Hey, look! Its the golden ratio!!!

😎🤓🙏👍🫡

I could watch this for hours

The mathematical wonder of the material universe live here:)

Isn't this why the theory of Earth as the center of the universe persisted for so long?

💛

Too bad my Arms aren't built like an Octopus.

I need explanation

Fft?

love this 😍

Thats Eren drawing a circle.

model that equation as the ui/ux for your apps
