Lost Highway was Robert Blake's final film. The film is about a man who may have k*ll*d his wife. Four years after it came out, Blake's real wife was murdered. Blake was charged, then acquitted. One of the strangest postscripts in film history.

I feel like that pale face dark eyes red lips combo is some kind of ancient human-adjacent species that used to hunt us and that’s why we have such a creepy feeling when we see it. It’s always used in horror movies to depict haunting, demonic creatures like vampires, ghosts, or ghouls.

Pretty sure 99% don’t get what it’s about. Took me a 2nd watching of the movie. (He wants to kill his wife for her infidelity and asks Satan for a path. The parallel story with him being young Chad is how he wants to be. In the end, his soul is collected as per.)
