It's not confusing. It is disturbing though Nikki sees Bear as a brother. Wish Nikki has twisted that into a sexual thing. Hence this story

I really like how it's almost like the two Nicki's are collaborating here. She knows how much true Nicky hates him and that the only reason she can't is because she has no free will because of the wish. This is her rebelling as much ashe can within the confines of his wish imo.
