The most EXPENSIVE crash in Formula 1 history. 💰

I remember watching this live. The miracle was that no one got killed or badly injured, though cars, parts and tyres were flying all over the place. Moreover, since teams were then allowed to have a spare car, many drivers caught up in the crash were able to restart.

I still remember watching this race like it was yesterday. It was the perfect storm. Murray Walkers on comms aswell. It was just perfect.

Direct costs maybe. But Senna's was likely the most expensive overall - millions in legal costs from prosecution of the Williams team in Italy, huge costs in track modifications and new car design regulations, and commercial costs from the PR damage.

Jordan 1-2 in this race also. Amazing how they didn't crash
