In a perfect world Jaden didnt get weird and he continued his training. Did another movie with Jackie Chan before revising the classic the Last Dragon
The movie should be called Kung Fu Kid!
これは空手じゃない、カンフーだ。 衣装も空手着じゃなくカンフーのものだし。 ジャッキーだし。 馬鹿にし過ぎ。
Nothing iconic about that. It's just stolen from the original

![Producer Jerry Weintraub & an editor in "The Karate Kid" (1984) were against the scene where Miyagi [Pat Morita] gets drunk & talks about his dead wife. However, writer Robert Mark Kamen & Director John G. Avildsen thought it was a pivotal scene & was "The heart of the movie". Kamen advised Avildsen to fight for the scene and show it to a test audience. He said to him, "Frank, please, I'm begging you. Test it with this. If it doesn't work, you can take it out." The scene worked & according to Kamen, it pissed off everyone who were against it. Avildsen thought that this was the scene that caught the Academy's attention & clinched the nomination for Pat Morita. Avildsen said, "He was just perfect in that scene. It’s probably the most touching scene in the movie."
