I counted 15+ languages I programmed with. Easiest was basic (sinclair basic) Hardest was C++ Most fun was Python Least fun was Fortran Most troublesome was java script

Python is written in C, so shouldn't that by extension make C the most popular language? Also, I'm not surprised that Ada came out of nowhere and shot straight to the top during the government's "Thou shalt use Ada" phase. Obviously politically motivated. The subsequent rise of C and fall of Ada was them trying to clean up their mess.
