I feel ashamed as an American that he should have to stand up and justify the value of his life. He's human, his life is as valuable as any other. As it was from the moment of conception.

I love this!! I have a 38yo Down Syndrome son that I would never have thought to abort. He was my "gift" and I am forever thankful to have him and to have raised him. He made the biggest difference in our lives. ❤️❤️❤️

People with Downs Syndrome really are happier than anyone without it. They told me my son would have Downs Syndrome. I did an ultrasound. Then they offered me an amniocentesis. I asked if there was a risk of miscarriage. Answer is yes. I declined. When I look back, it was like they were coaching me along the way. I didn’t ask for the ultrasound, they just told me to go. The ultrasound was fine. So they had me sit in a comfortable “office style” room to wait for the doctor to talk to me…..who offered the amnio. I almost think he was shocked I declined, and I declined firmly. Of course he told me that if I change my mind to give him a call. The ultrasound didn’t bother me. We got to find out early that we were having a boy. That was one of their selling points. The amnio offer pissed me off. My son is 18. He does not have Downs Syndrome. Not even the happy or helpful genes. 😉

My unusual and profound happiness! ❤️ they offered an amniocentisis test since it was 50/50 she had DS. Absolutely NOT ...would not risk losing this angel.

All the humans that society deems as “useless” have so much to show the rest of the world. As a mother to a child that most people would not have raised, I can personally say that these special humans are here to teach us all some humility and to learn what life is really truly about ♥️
