This show is underrated!!! It needs more exposure on how much it touches on real issues! I binge watch every new season in 2 days of less no lie.

I like it but it’s just too much unnecessary cursing

It really and I mean really is a good show . Disclaimer - a lot and I mean a lot of cussing lol

So, he gets a girl pregnant and the reaction is — disrespect the son, the pregnant girl, pretend it’s not his child, and send her away knowing she has no where to go… I’m not exactly sure what the lesson here is. Is the child not actually his?

I don’t really understand when yall say “too much cussing” but I do have a potty mouth myself so I guess. I will definitely say the show is not for everyone but it’s a damn good show to me. Besides PValley it’s the only other new show I have been able to get into & I love it.

I’ve only seen a few episodes, but does she ever want to change the way that she talks to her children? Like is the premise her changing the narrative of black parents, or just perpetuating the same unhealthy behaviors? Because just because it’s relatable, doesn’t mean this is ok
