I believe his cabinet members.. Such as Emefele and Malami were solely responsible for the bad face of his govt

The True Coalition with no greediness, came together and despite Asiwaju effort, he choose to step back for Pres Buhari and stayed Loyal all through the 2 terms,After, we said it is his turn, he went for primaries and won unlike some fighting for ticket in thier concoction.

Nigeria: A Nation Grappling With Corruption. The Fight Against Corruption has been a play for far too long in Nigeria. The solution is for us to engage corruption. This is what I believe Alhaji Aliko Dangote signaled its take‑off when he shared publicly how a public official from Sokoto State, still in service, was able to pay about US $5,000,000.00 for his children’s secondary‑school education in a Western country. “Mallam Farouk has four of his children that he educated in Switzerland at the cost of $5 million for their secondary‑school education…” — Aliko Dangote throws up a serious allegation. We must name names when we see and experience corruption and go further to provide as much information about it to the public. By doing this, we will not only be helping authorities such as the Police, ICPC, or EFCC; we will be leading the charge. Corruption does not have the pride to face real facts about what it is, what it causes, and its effects on people’s lives and living. So, when corruption is engaged constructively and persistently, it will, on its own, hide its head. Even when corruption hides, we must not relent. We must be persistent in our pursuit to shine even more light on every corruption episode and its carrier(s). That is why I am happy that Alhaji Aliko Dangote said he—or they—will follow it up to the highest authority. Alhaji Aliko Dangote, I take this as a promise. Please do not back down. Many decent, qualified, and willing Nigerians who could be good heads and hands that should be in Nigeria giving their best have left for foreign lands. When we assess and estimate the loss(es) to our nation, it gets even more worrisome. The further worry is that all persons connected to this quality human capital—including their spouses, children, and the future children of these “Japa” Nigerians—are becoming a total loss to their motherland, mainly due to corruption and its effects on our people and environment. With Alhaji Dangote’s pushback, and the recent news of Mallam Malami and Dr. Chris Ngige on the same evil acts of corruption, many may be persuaded to believe that we are making some progress in our resolve and journey to engaging corruption. Notwithstanding that we know many are still walking freely, and possibly accusing others when they themselves are corruption personified, we must trust that engaging corruption is a journey and we may just have to take one or a few at a time. With time, the hunters may be hunted where they too get their minds and hands dirty. Late President Muhammad Buhari warned that people who served under him and engaged in corruption may one day be held to account for their deeds while in office, and they must not come to seek his help. Now that PMB is with his Creator, he is truly free of, and from, any such calls. Now it is for all decent Nigerians at home and abroad to join and support Alhaji Aliko Dangote as he champions the frontal engagement of corruption in Nigeria. It is noteworthy to mention that Mr. Femi Otedola did the same with then‑lawmaker Farouk Lawan. He was exposed, investigated, tried, and convicted. He served his term, and we expect that he will think twice should any corruption window knock at his door again. We must not hesitate to call out corruption going forward. It is in our interest, and it is the right thing to do at this time and moment in our nation‑building effort. Corruption collapsed the House of Hope that Nigeria was destined to be, long ago.
