The munchkin model is almost finished! It will be a little while before it's out on gumroad, but I just added the option to randomize the model so you can play around with the different parts! 😻

Here is the progress with my munchkin model! It's a modular setup where you can mix and match different parts. Next on the list is to make proper textures (there will be 8 sets on the final model!) :D #vrchat #lowpoly #3d

Working on a tutorial for the Real Time Caustics in Shaders Plus, but I keep getting carried away, just so fun! 🤭 You can play around with it too, it's available on Gumroad and Blender Market! :) #b3d #blender #caustics #realtime

I honestly expected the Tesla Model Y L to be a little bit slapdash because it's basically just a stretched Model Y with an extra added row of seats chucked in but there's a lot of attention to detail when you look closely. It's a testament to the designers and engineers.

I joined OpenAI at the beginning of the year -- partly because I was excited about the possibility of better voice interaction with computers. So it was *especially* amazing to work with the team here on the gpt-4o model launch. It's hard to grok until you try it how big of a step forward this is for human/computer voice communication. It feels different -- it's obvious that the model understands you better than anything you've used before. This is my favorite demo of gpt-4o, it demonstrates not just good stt/tts, but actual conversational ability over full, realistic phone call. It's so obvious how useful this will be!

Sub-agent Model Selection — Different Tasks, Different Models Your main agent runs Qwen3.6-Plus for quality. But not every subtask needs a flagship model. Now sub-agents can use a different model. Create a skill file with model: openai:qwen3.5-plus and the sub-agent runs on that model. Powerful model for the hard parts, fast model for the easy parts. Save tokens without sacrificing quality on what matters.

MIT PhD student Alex Zhang reveals the scaling result where a model trained on short tasks generalizes to problems 100x longer for free: "If you're very clever about the design of your harness or how you use the language model, you can almost get scaling gains for free." "If you train a model naively, there's no tricks. It's just the same way you train a model on these RL environments. You just roll it out, and then you just get some reward." "If you train it on only short tasks, like only tasks that are 10,000 tokens long, and then you were to run it on a similar domain, but at a million tokens, or 10 million tokens, or 100,000 tokens, it generalizes really, really well. If you look at it compared to even the base transformer, you get way better generalization properties." "When the model uses an RLM (Recursive Language Model) after it's trained on these short tasks, it will see some kind of trajectory of actions that it does. Between these two problems of different lengths, the RLM learns to see them as almost the same problem." "Token for token, they're almost the same. You can describe it in code. In one code setting, maybe the for loop is a little bigger, but it's the same kind of code and it derives the constants from the data. There's no hard coding, so they literally look the same." alex zhang

i had early access to muse wonder and got to play around with it as the slopcannon producer. it is a surprising model. on every technical benchmark we ran it was neck and neck or better than astra, fable and opus. in the cannon it has a delicate touch, it makes inspired creative decisions. there aren't really benchmarks for soulfulness but muse has it. it's a warm model, a capable model, it has big model smell. it's outputs are happy, innocent, and friendly. it never talks down to you like some of the other models. it wants to help you make dope stuff. it wants you to make money. it's aligned with you. meta is going to win consumer agents in a landslide. you can test out the new muse model in the slopcannon today at

first step was getting llama cpp to play nice with electron js so that we can run the model I fine tuned on the client, a couple errors but eventually got it wired up with node-llama-cpp bindings. this way the model + app can be shipped to the user (client) and run offline

THIS GUY ASKED FABLE TO MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE AI RIGHT BEFORE IT GOT TAKEN DOWN the prompt: "you can you use whatever resources you like, and python, to render a short video. can you put a more personal spin on it? it should be about what it's like to be you." that was it. just python and ffmpeg and a question about its own existence. 12 minutes later, around 90,000 tokens, it produced a finished video. coherent and edited, with its own take > it wrote the code, generated the visuals, and rendered the final cut on its own > no dedicated video model in the loop, just a language model reaching for python and ffmpeg > the result is competent enough that people genuinely got emotional watching it and then fable got pulled. this video is one of the last things it made before it went dark a model asked what it's like to be itself, answered in a video, and then disappeared. this sounds so sad

Boris Cherny, Claude Code creator at Anthrpic: "The more general model will always outperform the more specific model. Don't try to use tiny models for stuff. Don't try to fine-tune. Don't try to do any of this stuff. There are some applications, there are some reasons to do this, but almost always try to bet on the more general model, if you can, if you have that flexibility. And in general, what we see is maybe scaffolding can improve performance maybe 10%, 20%, something like this, but often these gains just get wiped out with the next model. So it's almost better to just wait for the next one." ---- From "Lenny's Podcast" YouTube channel, (link in comment)

He’s a great option around the green when your lie is a little bit dicey and you’re a little bit nervous to grab loft In this particular situation the ground was fairly wet and the grass was growing into me so this shot becomes quite difficult although it looks quite simple I didn’t hit a very good shot here, but you get the point Just another option around the greens for you to play with 👊🏼

[Live2d] She... is... EVOLVING!! This is the same base model as her old one ... I told u guys I'm willing to push the pony base to it's limits !! but this option will probably be retired soon, and I will have to make a new one when I can <3 The customizable is my prio tho!

Hilariously, they placed his model wrong and he’s fallen to the ground, and is shooting off constant fire You can move the model by walking around it. And I just launched it into the abyss 😭

1/ First, how do you benchmark an AI model? You give different models the same test cases, and score them. You can do the same with voice models using Word Error Rate (WER). You generate the audio, transcribe it with a speech recognition (ASR) model, and compare that transcript to the original text. And this tells you whether the model said the right words. But the same sentence can be said correctly, while still being wrong in context.
