Is $100,000 per year middle class? Or is the new middle class at $120,000 per year? Of course ignore certain crazy areas of California, NYC, etc. for the bulk of the country, what is middle class family income level now? 🔊 … 🤨

"Fascism is a moment in the history of the middle-class, a means by which the middle-class protects itself from the working class." --- Bernardo Bertolucci on 'The Conformist' (1970) Full Excerpt: "'The Conformist' (1970) is first a film about the bourgeoisie, the middle-class, not about fascism. I was speaking about the middle class, and fascism is a moment in the history of the middle-class, a means by which the middle-class protects itself from the working class. Whenever the working class is coming up, up, up, at this moment fascism makes its appearance. In the film there is a fascist and an anti-fascist, but the Professor in Paris, the anti-fascist, is also from the middle-class. We have two faces of the same coin, of the middle-class. One face is fascism, the other is anti-fascism, but not a Marxist anti-fascism, just an idealism. Because he is also in the middle-class, my anti-fascist is not a hero, not a positive man." (From his interview with Joan Mellen, 1975)

The middle class is the only thing standing in the way of complete government and 1 percenter control. That's why the war is almost always on the middle class.

"That's the way the ruling class operates in any society. They try to divide the rest of the people; they keep the lower and middle classes fighting with each other" -George Carlin 🚨🚨🚨 🔊 “The middle class is there to pay all of the taxes and do all of the work. The poor are there to scare the middle class.”

If the middle class in a country can’t afford to buy a home and the definition of being in the middle class is being able to afford a home wouldn’t that mean that the middle class is about to be nonexistent in that country?
