More thn 3L students changed centres when given a chance and 99.5% queries sorted but he didn’t change and checked and kept it Abu Dhabi. So why sudden narrative of glitch a day before the exam? His father, Mohammad Talib, says, "Just 5 minutes ago we received the fresh admit card with the exam centre in Nagpur. We are very thankful to the Agency for this prompt action. We are also thankful to the media for raising this issue. Abdullah is not ready to write the exam again but we are convincing him. Now that he has the fresh admit card, we will speak with him again. I can't express in words how tense we were...They should take ensure that nothing like this occurs in the future. No one else should go through what we had to."

The MoE confirmed that exam paper was being sold for Rs.5000 on telegram channels a day before the exam date. The CBI concluded there was no actual paper leak and filed a closure report. The entire episode was traced back to a school student who doctored a screenshot of the genuine UGC-NET question paper from 18 June 2024, backdating it to 17 June, to give the impression he had obtained it a day before the exam. The UGC NET 2024 was conducted all over again because I4C and MoE raised a false alarm to cancel an exam. And 9 lac students suffered!!

The exam took place on 3rd May and on 7th May, NTA received a complaint that the guess paper had some questions that were present in the Question sheets this time. ▪️The Higher Education Department initiated an immediate inquiry and the matter was then handed over to the concerned agencies of the Government of India. They contacted the state agencies and by May 12th, we were confirmed that under the guise of a guess paper, the actual examination questions had indeed been leaked. ▪️We did not want any deserving student to be deprived of their rights because of the conspiracy of education mafias or because an undeserving candidate benefited through unfair means. ▪️After the irregularities that surfaced last time, the Radhakrishnan Committee had been constituted, and we implemented its recommendations. Despite that, this incident occurred. "In the last hearing, Supreme Court had asked the Centre to let them know certain data points, based on which Supreme Court can come to the conclusion whether the sanctity of the entire exam has been compromised or is it certain pockets that can somehow be monitored. The Centre filed their affidavit today and the SG (Solicitor General) tried to prove the exact same point that a very limited leak has happened, it at all. For now, arguments in detail have not happened but the Centre for now is trying to prove that this leak was not big enough to cancel the entire exam and to damage the fate of other students who were not involved at all."
