OpenAI Stole work on Navier-Stokes.

So you don't need to have the radar CSA it could be possible to detect and identify a craft by it's turbulent flow @HLC_actual That could be fun....

@HLC_actual Wow, I jus thought about this but I wasnt aware it could be done. It makes sense.

Hmmm. Is lift actually provided by the difference in turbulence?

Yes, the same way it did last week.

I'm more interested in 3D vortex breakdowns

That’s cool! Interesting how the vortices detach and roll off.

Fluid dynamics are honestly wild. It’s fascinating how those complex equations make such a stealthy shape look so smooth in the simulation.

yeah, the CFD simulations are so amazing to and so useless most of the times!

Gut check - there no way it's that turbulent

In fact, it models it well. Nature doesn't calculate to accomplish things; it simply plays out the rules of physics that we assume we know.

Beautiful visualization. The alternating vortices peeling off the trailing edge form a textbook Karman vortex street. I love how the simulation makes the Navier-Stokes equations tangible.

But what about the electrostatic charge airflow adjustments they use on the skin of the bomber?

Yeah, we didnt account for any of the surface engineering effects

@FordPrefec21206 If OpenAi took the data, I mean then you wouldn’t be wrong. 😹

In classical aerodynamics (including B-2 Spirit) there is a principle stating that vortices must be shed behind the vehicle; however, depending on ambient vortices (irregular natural winds), these vortices can exceed predictions, pushing the tail up or down (turbulence)

So what does the solution to Navier-Stoles does for physics or in general life or computing
