The NBA Finals ratings tanked again, with game 4 hitting the second lowest number of viewers since Bird and Magic played. In fact, the South Carolina-Iowa women’s title game outdrew every NBA Finals game by over 6 million viewers. Wild:

NBA basketball is slow and boring. they call fouls for trivial plays and don't call them when Lebron travels. If the NBA wants people to watch again they should return to the tough play in Kobe era and before. these games are just silly to watch nowadays.

It’s because it doesn’t resemble basketball anymore. It’s an exhibition of talented athletes going against mostly inept team defenders while being officiated by individuals who won’t enforce the rules. I am a Celtics fan and while savoring the outcome I was appalled at what has happened to the game.

NHL is alot more fun

The NBA is just horrible basketball. Period.

Remember in April when you said Clark wouldn't boost WNBA ratings. That's a good memory.

Big difference watching kids play for title and spoiled millionaires play for a contract negotiation. I live in Detroit.Gores just held presser saying how hard year was on players. No. They still get millions. Harder on families to spend north of $500 to watch them lose 1 game.

There are several reasons for this. Bad product. Terrible presentation. Wokeness. A million more choices. A declining popularity in the NBA. You name it.
