Interviewer: People are saying you’re inciting young people to come out and da! for thier vote, what did you mean by that PO: What I did in Port Harcourt was more about listening to the people. I was not doing the talking. One of them said, 'This time, we are ready to da! for our votes.' To encourage them, I said I was ready to da! with them. What we are saying is that we are prepared to ensure that our votes count - and they must count. - Peter Obi, NDC

Rufai Oseni: There is a clear plan to keep both the NDC and ADC off the ballot, and it will take a miracle for either of them to appear. Peter Obi left the ADC for the NDC, and immediately an appeal was filed against the NDC, resulting in its deregistration. Yet you expect people not to believe they are targeting him? Even during the Buhari administration, the opposition was never treated this way.

Where are the Blazing Saddles fans? I never watched Blazing Saddles all the way through until last summer. I had only seen clips, so I always thought it was absurd and found a lot of the scenes offensive. Once I understood what Mel Brooks was doing, the whole movie clicked. He did not hold back, it was satire aimed at exposing how ridiculous racism really is. Did it take you a while to get that too, or was I just late to appreciating the movie?

Massonic Mormon Mafia! He does a great job connecting all of this! The orphan trains is what I explain to people when I wait on them. It’s an easy way to start but Tao connects this well.

My Opposition to NDC’s Registration Not About Peter Obi, But Stopping a National Fraud - Ardo I reached out to everyone close to Peter Obi and asked them to tell him that if they were considering moving to another party, there are other options available, not the NDC. The issue of how the party was registered remains unresolved. I also met with Kwankwaso and raised the same concerns with him. Despite that, both of them joined the party. Their move has not changed anything — the situation is still as bad as it was. I have no motive other than to stop what I believe is a national fraud. You cannot come in this way and expect people to vote for you. My opposition to the NDC’s registration is not on behalf of ADA. It’s personal. Umar Ardo, Promoter, All Democratic Alliance

This was Peter Obi in 2017 campaigning for Oseloka Obaze in Ihiala, Anambra state. During this campaign, Peter Obi said some things that are very remarkable. 1. He recognised the works that Chris Ngige, the governor before him did. Obi never dismissed Ngige instead he recognised his achievements before mentioning the ones he (Peter) did. 2. Peter Obi was not campaigning based on promises, instead as a former governor, he was campaigning based on what he did for them. He took time to mention the roads, schools, hospitals etc which he built or renovated for them. This is exactly, how to campaign for a second term or as a former governor or president. You don't campaign on promises but on your performance. Tinubu and APC, take note. 3. One striking thing here is that Peter Obi was at Ihiala while telling them what he did for them. It's a different thing that someone is on television saying that he did this or that but Obi was at the place in front of the indigens of Ihiala pointing at each of the projects while the people cheered in agreement. That speaks of a man who was sure of what he was saying. That speaks of a man who was sure of what he did. 4. Another important thing to note here is that Peter Obi did all of these things without borrowing and he also left a huge amount of money. Some people think that Obi just left money without working. No! Obi worked more than all the governors of his time without borrowing and yet left money. That is exceptional! 5. He also said something very remarkable. If someone doesn't do well in first term, if you allow him again to do a second term, he will simply be sleeping. Nigerians take note! — Advocacy For Good Governance

An English 12-year-old girl was kidnapped, raped by two Afghan migrants and they videoed what they did to her. What will it take for people to realise where this is heading and that something needs to happen before it’s officially too late?

Ojy Okpe: There are people in the north who have never forgiven the igbos for the killing of Amadu Bello, 60 years later you are asking for the votes of this people, what do you say to the people of sokoto who still hold this against you? Peter Obi: I am sorry for what happened to them. Even when it happened I was 3–4 years old. What I will be offering to them and Nigerians is unity, peace and love. Today we have a president who does not believe in One Nigeria, but he is the President of Nigeria.

The hustle bros & the harmony bros are both wrong. This is the right mindset: “You mentioned sacrifices, about all the things that you lost to become professional. I never had the feeling that I did a lot of sacrifices. I just was not able to do all the things that my friends were doing every weekend. But I was able to do all the things. And I did. And at the same time, when you are doing what you want to do, you are not doing sacrifices. You work hard. Of course you push as much as you can. But you’re doing what you want to do.”

Sneaking out when I was a teen was the easy part, the rule of thumb I’ve learned over time was always try to be home before 4am, make sure it’s still dark. This rookie was out way too long, coming home when the sun is out is asking to get caught. Did you have any rules for yourself not to get caught?

On this occasion it’s okay to NOT mind your business because WHAT in the blue moon is this guy wearing! Did he leave his pants somewhere? What in the heck is going on? Auntie told him he was doing too much! I say it’s an understatement. Seriously people it takes a village.

The only way to predict the future is to help create it. I spoke at Ted X Enugu about a year ago with no idea about what was to come, neither did I know what to expect. Yet everything still holds true today. All you need to get to where you want to be is a vision and unwavering focus. Because the only thing people can take away from you is what you have, not who you are. Never give up. #Landmark2.0 #LandmarkNikeLakeResort #landmarkAfrica #Enugu #NikeLakeResort

Between Charles Aniagolu and Peter Obi on Arise TV tonight; Charles: “Can you realistically secure the ADC ticket where people like Atiku Abubakar and others are? And if you don’t, would you be willing to step aside for a stronger coalition candidate in order to defeat President Tinubu?” Mr. Peter Obi: “For me, what I believe is that the way Nigeria is now, it requires a coalition of people who are ready to sacrifice everything. We are no longer going to have a transactional coalition, because there is nothing left to share. What we need are people who are willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the country.”

Carlos Alcaraz was asked if he feels a responsibility as the world #1 to be an ambassador for the good of tennis the way Federer, Nadal, & Djokovic did before him “As the world #1 and one of the biggest names in tennis, do you feel a responsibility to be an ambassador for the sport? To grow it in the way Federer, Nadal, & Djokovic did before you…” Carlos: “Not really. I don’t think about it, being a good ambassador for tennis. But obviously at the same time the way I play, I just try to entertain the people, trying to engage people to watch more tennis. A part of that is.. I’m not thinking that I have to be the best ambassador possible to tennis. It’s just stepping on the court, I’m doing what I love to do. Just playing tennis. That is the best way I can be a good ambassador. It’s about loving what you’re doing and enjoy every single second you step on the court. I think that’s it. That’s all that’s in my mind.” (via Australian Open Press)

The result is out for South Africa. This is a prototype for what is to come. The white settlers who are engineering South Africans against their African neighbors must are smiling now! The way the whole continent turned against South Africa in their game against Mexico on Thursday was exactly what those behind the xenophobia against black migrants were hoping for. It’s never too late to receive sense.

Noem: I think a lot of people and even you yourself called this situation something very different and untruthful about what it was. Tapper: What did I say that was untruthful? Noem: That this was not a correct definition of what was happening on the ground Tapper: I said that your your description, they were attempting to push out their vehicle and a woman attacked them and those surrounding them and attempted to run them over and ram them with their vehicle is not what we see on the videotape. And it's not.
