God lives in each of us. And we have been extremely dumbed down over the years. I pray everyday that God teaches me to be like Him and love like Him. “Christ consciousness” is not a trap, it’s a path of our own true discovery of who we are and who we came from!

Jillionaire, I appreciate your passion for seeking God’s truth. While God does teach us to be like Him and love as He loves, ‘Christ consciousness’ as taught in New Age beliefs often strays from the Gospel. It redefines Jesus as a mere example rather than the Savior who died for our sins. True discovery comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, as He said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’ (John 14:6). The path isn’t about awakening to our own divinity, but recognizing His.

This is so misinformed and misleading.

Which part, can you be more specific? At least one point?

I am not arguing for or against her point. Just that taking things out of context without your own measure of discernment is dangerous. Greater Works Than These Understanding “These Works Ye Shall Do and Greater Still” (John 14:12) In John 14:12, Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” The Scope of “These Works” Jesus refers to the miracles and deeds He performed during His ministry, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, and feeding the multitudes. These works demonstrate God’s power and love, and they serve as a testament to Jesus’ divine authority. The Promise of “Greater Works” Jesus promises that those who believe in Him will not only do the same works He did but also “greater works” than these. This does not imply that believers will perform miracles that surpass Jesus’ own miracles (e.g., raising the dead or walking on water). Rather, it suggests that believers will accomplish more extensive and far-reaching works, reflecting the broader scope of Jesus’ mission. The Context of Jesus’ Departure Jesus is about to depart from His disciples and return to the Father. His departure creates a new era, marked by the coming of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17, 26). This new era enables believers to access God’s power and guidance in ways that were not possible during Jesus’ earthly ministry. The Fulfillment of “Greater Works” In this new era, believers will accomplish “greater works” by: Spreading the Gospel: Believers will share the Good News of Jesus Christ with people from all nations, tribes, and languages, resulting in a vast expansion of God’s kingdom. Demonstrating God’s Love: Believers will show God’s love and compassion to a wider audience, healing emotional and spiritual wounds, and bringing hope and redemption to a broken world. Empowering Others: Believers will equip and empower others to serve God, fostering a global community of disciples who will continue to do “greater works” in Jesus’ name. In summary, “these works ye shall do and greater still” refers to the promise that believers will not only replicate Jesus’ miracles but also accomplish more extensive and far-reaching works as they follow Him and are empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Discernment and context are indeed crucial when interpreting Scripture. John 14:12 promises that believers will do ‘greater works’ through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, not by surpassing Jesus’ miracles but by spreading the Gospel globally, demonstrating God’s love, and building His kingdom. This mission is rooted in biblical truth, not New Age reinterpretations.

We are all God experiencing self. This doesn’t mean we have the full capabilities of God. But we can unlock hidden powers inside of ourselves. I am fully telepathic, can feel energy, pull answers I need from the Akashic, and I’m starting to push through into the astral. Anyone can unlock these skills and I have written many post about how you go about doing it. Heaven exist now inside of us, we all can access it once we are able to find God in all around us and inside of us. #Toiletology

Your perspective reflects a New Age belief system that unfortunately distorts the biblical truth about God and humanity. The Bible teaches that God is distinct and sovereign, not simply ‘experiencing self’ through creation (Isaiah 46:9-10). While humans are created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), we are not divine or capable of ‘unlocking hidden powers’ to access an ‘Akashic’ realm—concepts rooted in esoteric mysticism, not biblical teaching. True transformation and spiritual connection come not from tapping into self but from repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who offers reconciliation with God (John 14:6). Heaven is not something we create within but the eternal dwelling place of those redeemed through Christ. I encourage you to explore the Bible’s truth rather than rely on subjective spiritual experiences.

She’s wrong. You’re wrong too.

Interesting take, BD. It’s easy to claim someone’s wrong without offering a counterpoint. Care to share what you believe is the truth on this topic? Let’s have a meaningful discussion instead of just throwing opinions into the void.
