This Kermit voice is worse than Vogel by every measure

IMHO It might be time to let go of the voice & just enjoy the character. Even ppls voices can change subtly over time. To demand the OG Kermit voice could result in a digital mimic. Would that be better? Or do we like a person doing it? I enjoyed the song & perspective tho

Im sorry but i will never understand people who find it necessary to constantly crap on vogal puppeteering isnt just about a voice u can put on it takes years to learn even steve wasn't all that good at first people are just used to steves voice

Everyone has a half-decent Kermit impression* *in their own view and maybe in the view of their mother. It’s also not just a voice. Watch the new Muppet Show special. You’ll get past it. He hasn’t had much room for people to adjust and get used to it so far. Let this die.

They don't just need to find a guy who can do a good Kermit impression, they need to find somebody who can nail the emotion and comedic timing of the character both from reading off of a script or completely on the spot as improvisational character work for any live appearances.

Yeah I was so very disappointed in the voice acting of Kermit. Literally the most commonly mastered voices, such a shame to let RFK do it

"Everyone has a Kermit impression." Vogel isn't doing an impression. He's just playing the character, and it sounds different from the previous versions. The job isn't trying to sound like Kermit. It's acting and puppeteering. Not everyone can do that

The New Kermit sounds suspiciously like Fiveish.

I watched the new show that came out the other day. This video clip sounds way different than Matt Vogel. His bothers me, but only bc the first two were so iconic.

I am with you. Show was great, and physical impressions of Kermie’s excitedment were spot on, but his voice isn’t high enough in parts, and just sounds off. How hard to your point is it to find someone who can do Kermit correct?

Kermits voice sucked in the haunted mansion special but the new special released the other day he sounds way better. He was ok in the Disney+ show

To be honest when I first heard the voice it sounded off. After watching the special and seeing Kermit's physicality and line delivery the fact that he doesn't sound exactly like Jim didn't matter to me. I was immersed and that is what matters when it comes to the Muppets.
