The Next #destiny2 build I’m working on is this one. It’s not ready for endgame testing as I can’t get it to work the way I want. It doesn’t help that I absolutely hate playing Hunter after the smoke nerf many moons ago. The artifact needs to be changed too.

This young lady claims she works 40 hours a week and doesn’t make enough to support herself. She wants people to stop talking about how Gen Z doesn’t want to work. She claims us other generations have worked longer and thus can afford to live on our own. But that’s the point isn’t it. She claims she doesn’t want to work for the rest of her life yet says we have an advantage because we have worked longer than them. I always told my kids that nobody rarely ever starts at the top. We start at the bottom, work hard and work our ways up. I didn’t rely on anybody but myself, did I get help along the way? Sure I did, I was lucky to have gotten some help but I didn’t ask for it and I didn’t expect it. My motto is as long as my two hands and feet still work, I will survive somehow. Did I want to go to school for almost a decade? No I didn’t. Did I want to be a part of the workforce for so long, of course not, nobody does. But that’s the difference. I did it because I knew I had to do what I had to do to have an easier life later on. Self accountability goes a long way, I’ve always believed that if I am not where I want to be, the only person I can blame is myself. So no I’m not criticizing the younger generation for struggling. I am criticizing them for the fact they are complaining about it because they expected it to be easy. Going to school, and getting a job doesn’t mean I am automatically financially independent by default, it takes years to reach that point naturally. It’s a hard ride but we will all get there.

This is one of the biggest things I’m thinking through as I get back on the sideline this fall. We all chart the game. Down and distance. Field position. Fronts. Pressures. Coverage. Results. But after a series, I don’t have five minutes to sort through it. I have to talk to the QB, check in with the OL, process what the defense is doing, and get ready for the next call. That’s why I’m using Modern Football Technology this season. It takes the information we’re already tracking and makes it usable fast enough to help us on the next series. On game night, that matters.

This is not an easy video to post. I was let go from Turning Point USA, and while I’m grateful for the opportunities I had, I can’t ignore what I witnessed. Especially how employees are treated and the direction the organization is moving in. I’m not here to be bitter. I’m here to be honest. This video is the beginning of me telling the truth, as much as I legally can. I’m speaking up because I know I’m not the only one who’s felt this way and our First Amendment right matters, too.
