The next Nier game if it has better combat

Yes, I believe both Nier games have just alright combat systems. They aren’t bad, but if I had to choose between this type of action combat or the Nier games? It’s not even a question lol Let me pull off some crazy stuff like this Nier combat and I will never stop playing it

i always appreciate FF16 as an evolution of the nier formula for sure

It’s the only problem I have with the Nier games in not having much to experiment with in combat. Nier Automata was a bit better with its chip system though.

NieR (Automata) DOES have something I wish FF16 did tho… Wall splats!!! They’re so fun!!!

Lol yeah automata had some great improvements from the original, and the wall splat looks like it would fit right into FF16 for juggles

Where? Because the way people try and disingenuously downplay FF16 combat as if it’s a “one button” game, but then Nier combat is quite literally just a light and heavy attack hack n slasher lol. I love those games but we can’t act like the combat was their strong suits.

Would not be upset in the slightest if NieR 3 combat was copy and pasted from FF16

Honestly people would welcome it much more since Neir has always been a pure action hack n slash game
