The night that changed everything. Stone Cold comes out to help Mankind win the WWF Title in 1999 with probably the loudest crowd pop ever on WWF/E TV. Tony Schiavone spoils the results on WCW TV and a record-breaking number of people automatically tuned in to watch. Amazing.

That backfired on WCW so bad. I remember the days flipping back and forth between Nitro and RAW.

I was there for this in Worcester, MA on December 29, 1998. One of the most memorable nightsof my life. Most people don’t remember that WWE actually reported on their website that Foley won the title that night. They WANTED people to know he won. Bischoff played right into their hands. 😂
