This is not true. My dad was a mason and they were all Christian. To be honest, the process to approve someone to be able to join, there was always bias. The first lodges were in Britain and they were elites for the most part for a long time. The teachings of the Lodge are based on God and trust. The most I can offer due to not being a member and not given the secrets but, I gathered enough to know, it was being able to depend on each other, they call themselves brother. I was a Rainbow girl and we learned about the founding fathers that were Masons, about Love, Religion and Patriotism. We raised money to help a local Orphanage and things like that. The Lodge would help widows, my step dad at the time helped a widow of another member, mow her grass and do yard work for her weekly. I always thought of the Lodge as a group of men that helped each other and those family members by extension when in need. There is nothing demonic about any of these organizations. When this began, seeing such goof ball writings, I don't know why nor who. Washington and most of the founders were Masons, and it was those principles of freedom and individual responsibility that inspired them. It was the Masonic lodge that threw the tea into the Boston Harbor. It was their ability to trust each other to keep secrets that helped them plan the revolution. Most don't know this history but, they should.
