Eh... deus machina that undermines the bravery and sacrifices of the living before they showed up. Should have kept it like the books, arriving with boats with any army of multirwcial good guys liberated to attack orcs from behind.

If he had done the opposite Sauron wouldve taken the army over & gained alot of his dark forces back Learned this from a friend. It was my biggest gripe. Dude was lucky he was honorable. Gimli would've caused a hell of pain.

I mean, he could’ve at least asked them “ hey I’ll totally set you’re free, but could I ask you to see for just a bit longer? Just a tiny bit” I know I know he wouldn’t. I’m just saying.

Only part I hated about the trilogy: ghosts were an annoying “win button” that made the victory seem cheap.

Like this part with ghosts It's another Tolkien's place, yet, i think it perfectly fits this moment

In the books.. these guys are literally just ghosts, can’t touch anyone living. The unit that does their damage in the books is Aragorns Ranger unit, the Grey Company. Honestly.. kinda wish they did that.
