I’ll be on Mounjaro for 3 mos, not to lose weight but to help get my T2 in check. I wear a CGM, and my BG dropped by 20 points in the first week. GLP1 and GIP work on insulin — controlling the diabetes is worth the risks with the drug; diabetes will definitely kill me otherwise.

This won't age well. But that's ok, can't be right about everything 😉

Ozempic was originally developed as a kidney medication to help prevent kidney damage. weight loss was an off label side effect. I myself have chronic kidney disease and take Ozempic specifically for that original purpose.
