2 illegals ≠ an American. Birthright citizenship was meant for slaves after the civil war, NOT illegal aliens. Simply giving birth to a child after you illegally crossed the border shouldn't make that child legal. This isn't anti-immigrant, it's simple common sense.

No child born to foreign citizens should be considered a citizen of the United States. The conferring of birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens does not come from any statute passed by Congress, and the 14th Amendment was never intended to grant citizenship to everyone born on U.S. soil.
