Thanks for showing this clip, Kate Bolduan. Here’s why this makes me so mad ⬇️ I grew up poor. My family lived in public housing. I watched my parents struggle A LOT just to make ends meet. Because of the Democrat shutdown of DHS, our TSA agents are now feeling the same hardship I watched my parents go through. It makes me FURIOUS. If Democrats (who make $174k) want to block the paychecks of TSA agents (who make ≈ $50k), they shouldn’t get their paychecks either. I’ve tried to pass my No Budget, No Pay bill to make that happen, but Democrats block it every time. Senator Ruben Gallego even said he couldn’t support it because he has a mortgage to pay….does he think TSA agents don’t have bills too? Yes, I’ve had success in business. I won’t apologize for that and it will NEVER keep me from fighting for people who are being treated unfairly. I donate my entire Senate salary every year and am leading the fight to make members of Congress go without pay if they force that upon federal employees in a shutdown. I don’t know why the Democrats won’t support my bill.

THE8’s casting story 🥹 🐸after three months at the beijing school, i got cast by pledis. they just saw me dancing the way i normally do and picked me. my voice was going through puberty then so i said i didn’t want to sing. so they didn’t record my singing just my dancing, and i forgot about it for a week. then they suddenly called and said i made it. the ceo wanted to meet me in beijing 🐻‍❄️the ceo came all the way to your school to see you? 🐸yeah. we met there and everything went well. then they asked me to come to korea. so i talked to my parents. my dad was against it, and my mom as well, but she said if i wanted it, i should do it 🐻‍❄️did you want to? 🐸at the time, that school had all the best dancers from across china. but even watching them, i felt like they still couldn’t make a lot of money. even though they were the best in china, the were genuinely living the life they wanted. but i just wanted to make my parents happy. my family was just an ordinary family. i figured even if things didn’t work out in korea, i’d still have studied abroad. and if i came back, my value would go up. that was my mindset going in. just in case
