I cannot believe I grew up in this golden age gaming. Where it really felt like there was a genre defying Game every year or so. Now nowadays, it’s so rare in between we get them from Indie companies while others just try to make every game a live service no matter what

The last great Halo game

We used to have games that define a generation. Now we have Roblox and Fortnite, with gems scattered in between like Clair Obscur. Amazing, but not quite the same societal impact that games like Halo once had

When I was in middle school, in the 8th grade, back in 2007-2008, "never forget" was played at the middle school "graduation" event and left half the auditorium crying or somber, I remember it very clearly

This is one of those, you HAD to be there. It was glorious. This and Halo 2's midnight launch was so much fun. For H2, friends and I played LAN with a bunch of people in line for the midnight launch. I truly miss those days sometimes.

First time I loaded the game I just sat there and listened for gods know how long before I actually started playing.

You don't just casually "throw on" Never forget. You strap yourself in and let the feelings wash over you until you can feel no more.

I miss 360 days. Too many closet cheaters on MCC. They all got TTV in their tags too.

This Genuinely depresses me, remembering the days I'd play the Halo 3 campaign nonstop in the Spring and Summer.
