The one that changed cinema forever.

And only a mere 10 mins before that? 🤔🤣
And this was the way George saw fit to introduce the world to the combo of John Williams, Ben Burtt, and the wizards at ILM

Revenge of the sith opening is peak cinematography.
You could’ve exploded a nuclear bomb inside my 11-year old head and had less of an impact. Today, I guess we’d say I was SEATED.
And when it was over the only thing I wanted to do was go right back around thru the entrance, sit down, and watch it again. Eventually, my friends and I figured out you could just not leave — just stay in the theater and watch the next show for free

Star Wars (Debut): 1977 = SNAKE Year 🐍 20(25) = SNAKE Year 🐍

A close second would be Revenge of the Sith’s opening.

Thanks, Jenna. It truly did. This always takes me back to being 2 years old and seeing it for the first time in the theater 🎥 😳 😌. #Memories 😌

Omg, I remember watching a new hope for the first time ans it changed my life @QuiGonJenna especially empire strikes back and ROTJ, PLUS THE PREQUEL TRILOGY

Star Wars really did push the limits of what technology was available for filmmaking in 1977 🤩

Remember how everyone crouched in the cinema?

i agree with your choice

Incredible

No question about it.

Back in 1977, this opener just blew my mind. We'd seen absolutely nothing like it before.

Still got the chills every time i see it 😬

Yes. This.

That takes me back to 12 year old me sitting in a dark theater. I still get goosebumps
