I think that there's a considerable difference in context between the two. For the Rittenhouse case, within days, we had camera footage from every angle. We basically got to see the whole event for ourselves. It was pretty easy to see that it was a case of self defense. Rittenhouse was trying to remove himself from the situation and only defended himself when there was no other option. We don't have that with Karmelo. Karmelo is claiming self defense. We have heard that the police have some footage of the event. Without seeing that evidence, it's hard to state whether it was self defense or not. We'll have to wait and see. I didn't send money to Rittenhouse, and I'm not sending money to Karmelo. If it's necessary for us to fund people's defense, that's a sign of a broken system.
