Have you ever HEARD what heartbreak sounds like? For years, there was a legend about the only song Prince ever erased. He supposedly went into the studio one night and recorded a 45-minute solo track about his breakup with Susannah Melvoin. When he finished, he told his engineer to do something he’d never done before - erase the tapes. She begged him not to do it because, according to her, it was the most perfect song she’d ever heard. The next day, he recorded a new version of the song and kept adding stuff to it… Drums. Horns. Everything. Then he forgot it. It wasn’t on an album or a single. It was just a song he made. It wasn’t until 2020 when his estate released a shortened version of it. “Wally” Happy birthday to a musical genius.

Will Ospreay has revealed part of the reason behind why Baba O'Riley was chosen for his AEW All In 2026 entrance was because the song was used for an MV Zone tribute video to Bryan Danielson in 2011. "There was a song that we wanted, but we just couldn’t get a licence fee for it. I won’t put it out there because maybe one of these days I will be able to track it down again. I’d like to leave that as a surprise. But it was Mike Mansury that came up with the idea of The Who Baba O’Riley. "I’ll be honest with you, I have a connection with that song because there was a music video from the MV Zone. It was like a kind of little backyard wrestling music video group, and they did a Bryan Danielson tribute to that song, so I have a little bit of a connection to it. "I was just okay, I quite like the idea and The Who is British as well, so that’s kind of cool. But I remember listening to it and on the travels that me and Al (Alex Windsor) did, and I was just like, I don’t know if I feel it. The other song that I wanted got my juices flowing. It was my favourite song. I don’t know if I feel it. It was only when I heard the voiceover and I saw the clips that were all around it. I was like, 'this is perfect. This is it. rosé talking about unreleased song: Q: why didn’t you release the song? and would you ever release it? rosé: i wrote it after the album it’s more like a recent thing. that one i would love to release it. it is one of my favorite ones but and then i only realized that it was such a special song months after. I remember when I wrote it, i was like oh it’s a bit cringe that’s what i thought in the moment so it was obviously too vulnerable at the time and then i heard it again months later when i was completely over that I was like.. oh my god
