The political leadership in the district is in shambles, across parties.

When this vision is realized, the region will create at least ₹18,000 crore of annual disposable income, triggering a massive economic stimulus. It gave me goosebumps hearing the vision behind the Silicon Beach Program from Rohith Bhat when we spoke to him on ಮುಂದೆ ಬನ್ನಿ. This is the story of a man who not only built something big from a small town, but is now working to build an entire ecosystem for the region.
