My b-day wish is for everyone to unite behind Kerry-Lynne so we can get Eby out of there. Congratulations to Kerry-Lynne Findlay on her win and to my fellow contestants Iain Black, Yuri Fulmer and Peter Milobar for their strong campaigns. Thank you to my incredible team who believed in me, and to everyone who participated in this process. Now, it’s time to beat the NDP so we can restore hope and prosperity to the province we love.

I don’t do formal endorsements but Harman Bhangu is solid and has always been against child transition. As virtually every adult with any moral fortitude is. Why didn’t Kerry-Lynne Findlay listen to Lisa Bildy when she testified about Bill C-6? Kerry-Lynn Findlay was one of only 3 Conservatives who sat on the committee listening to all of the testimonies. She knew exactly what she was voting for when she voted to criminalize anyone who tries to help a trans-identified child to feel at peace with his or her sex. I spoke with Kerry-Lynn Findlay after that vote. I ran into her in the parking lot of Save-on Foods. We live in the same area and she was my representative. She told me, and I have audio of it, that she probably should have voted against it, but you know. It’s one of those things. She went on to vote for Bill C-4, the virtually identical bill. (C-6 was cancelled when the 2021 election was called. It had already passed the House, but the Senate hadn’t yet voted. It came back as C-4.) In other words, Kerry-Lynn Findlay is a politician. Not a truth-teller. British Columbians don’t need yet another politician.

Almost a year ago, I stood up and called for the end of the carbon tax with Bruce Banman — we were the only two Conservatives in BC’s Legislature. At the time, David Eby and the BC NDP called our common sense Conservative Party crazy, and said we hated the environment. The BC NDP championed this broken tax for eight long years, hurting everyday people and families. Then, on the heels of the election and tightening polls, David Eby was told by pollsters that he needed to suddenly dump his deeply held personal beliefs and change his mind for political expediency. The elimination of the carbon tax today is a victory for our whole Caucus, team, and over 10,000 Conservative Party of BC members — but more importantly, the taxpayers of BC. I am so proud of my Conservative Party of BC MLAs who refused to go home until the job was done — every single Conservative MLA fought this fight, even folks who were sick or injured checking in from hospitals and home. When it comes to helping everyday, hardworking people with affordability — common sense Conservatives will continue to lead, and David Eby will continue to follow.

Former Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart is alleging there is a B.C. cabinet minister under investigation for collaborating with the Chinese government. Kenney, a former NDP MP, also alleges the current Mayor of Vancouver, Ken Sim, worked with the CCP to win the mayoral race. David Eby denies the allegations and swears he would act if it were true. The BC NDP only have a one seat majority government. It's quite possible David Eby is lying because it would put his government in a far tougher political situation, if he were to act.
