I agree with Elon and you about closed AI. There is, however, an area of threat I have spoken about, that is the coming Artilect Wars, whereby closed AI companies and governments will seek dominance by subtly or not so subtly throttling or disabling other AIs, AI models, or even at the supply chain level. How? Take an AGI level agent, set it with the task of doing undetectable damage to rivals to make them less productive. Artilect Wars are coming.
