the opencode2 server is so useful

Looking good. How would you recommend using oc2 server with sandboxes such as micro sandbox

i'm not sure what that is but you can run the server inside the sandbox and connect clients from outside of it

Why is shel Silverstein as depicted in the popular children's book diary of a wimpy code talking about software

I went to see if there are opencode Emacs integrations already, and there are at least three!

@jayair Ive been liking opencode2 alot, previously, I would switch to claude code or codex somtimes or even GUI, but it feels like everything is here now!

@opencode Gotta try this out soon must be really helpful.

i feel like ur really pushing 2

love the amazing live server service and especially the cool AF animation on launch in TUI for opencode2 (voila)

Can you transcribe this so I don’t gotta listen to it. I can listen later but I actually would prefer to read now.

x adds captions after like 5 min

Ty Dax I will revisit monetarily

Hell yeah I was just telling teammates today that this was the thing I was waiting most on for v2. Is it mature enough where I should adopt it with all my tooling? I will need to remove a fair amount of server management/launching code and refactor. Or should I give it more time?

yes adopt. the only reason we haven't flipped is i'm doing a slow rollout so our team doesn't get overwhelmed by a million people upgrading overnight

Hell yeah tysm I’ll be adopting this week then.

dax you're a really cool guy

@opencode Currently building an open source Claude Cowork alternative thanks to opencode server, coming soon! These scheduled sessions look awesome.

Same guy btw

I had already built the one. And it will get more stable after v2.

@opencode Is there a recommended way to serve the web app with opencode2 right now? I read through the docs and couldn’t find it mentioned anywhere

@opencode we just shipped this. it's served by default now

@opencode Sick, thanks!

@FactoryAI @droid was far ahead of the game!! They were doing it from ages and I loved it. I am loving opencode2 so far

^ @dannolan - just scrolled by this

@jayair why so many americans have their remote-office in a garage?

I have been testing my shovel for a week. It is great!

Hey @thdxr does this is fully applied on the GitHub open source, like the updates are done or not?

Can you containerize these features?

this has been super useful on v2. lately my flow has changed to using an "orchestrator" agent that spawns full sessions for work that is too big for subagents and that i need to interact with while not polluting orchestrator's context

yo you actually look like your profile pic is crazy.

yeah i kind of run a primitive setup , 1.18.15 as a persistent headless server with a telegram bot i ping from my phone. plus some local daemons for voice2text (parakeet). old version, but it does the job.

@grok explícame de que habla en el vídeo

Started using it today, it's so good, love the tabs. Wish they can be repositioned on the bottom though?

This is awesome. Building my own personalized app around the API rn!

can't opencode v2 to come out of beta, I plan to use this stronger http server to build software factories around issue trackers

why not use it now?

pls official release so my shit don't break

This is amazing.

Linux, Sol, Neovim... are you hitting on me right now?

oh this might be so useful for my vizu project, I somehow "forced" manually a server-like background instance but was mmmm kind of a mess -- great direction

No way we're getting Omarchy4 before Opencode2. Come on, dax!

He says TUI just like speed would lmao

@opencode Go server ?

@pejmanjohn we should dig in more on OC in parallel! Steel sharpening steel!

the demo prompt knew about the opencode session thing already does this mean opencode agents are now aware about opencode similar to pi ?
