The original Capcom vs. SNK coming back means more people will get to experience one of the coolest stages in all of fighting games.

This game in particular might be my pick for best overall stages in fighting games.

I have never seen another stage do shadows and lighting like this let alone in 2D

The CvS1 stages had some really cool tricks with lighting and backgrounds, especially for the time!! This one's my personal fave:
