@MikeCampbellHQ @ChrisStapleton @AMERICANAFEST This is the first TP & Heartbreakers song I ever heard. I was closing at Wendy's, scrubbing the grill, with my ghetto blaster on the counter when this came on. I am 66 now and still remember that moment. Thank you, guys.

@MikeCampbellHQ @ChrisStapleton @AMERICANAFEST 1st I wanna say nice job on the cover. But, is this what music shows have come to??? Country musicians have to cover rock songs bc "Rock and Roll" is dead? Are there no Rock bands good enough to win awards nowadays?

“The Telecaster is like the heart and soul of rock and roll music.” In his legendary career with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and The Dirty Knobs, Mike Campbell has crafted some of rock’s greatest riffs – often with a Telecaster in hand. But one guitar stands apart: a modified 1972 Tele named the “Red Dog.” During the recording of 1979’s Damn the Torpedoes, it became the missing link behind one of the Heartbreakers’ most iconic tracks: “Refugee.” Learn more:
