We heard about them food programs. Helped to make The Black Panthers enemy number one.

I typically fact check posts like these and usually there BS. However, this one doesn’t miss the mark much. The government targeted the BP community aid programs not for being illegal but because they were politically effective and improved the panthers public image.

This! And let’s also note that the Black Panthers were not considered a “threat” to national security by CIA until they start giving out free food to black children. Even our ability to thrive, and build community is/was considered dangerous. That’s something to think about…
