Oseakwa deep river is just 15nautical to the sea... it is very possible to drege the river (similar to what Egypt did with the Suez canal)and have our own Seaport. but such project will cost around $700m - $1bn..

According to history, OSEMOTO/OSEAKWA sea is one of deepest seaports in Nigeria situated at IMO/Anambra states (Ihiala precisely) in the 50s and 60s but FG closed it like other seaports in Warri, calabar and rivers to marginalized the Igbo Nation and Favour Lagos.
