The father stepped between her and the gun, shielding his daughter from the bullets, ultimately giving his life to save her as the boyfriend opened fire, k*lling him. His daughter survived due to her father's intervention, but is in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say Lester's daughter's 17-year-old boyfriend punched her in the face and pistol-whipped her with a 9mm handgun in Concord, NC. The father stepped in between them to protect her, taking multiple rounds himself, ultimately giving his life to save her.
