I'm not a web dev guy, but I'm a bit shocked this is the state of things. I remember trying to learn how to set up my own servers, and using WAMP. Setting up a phpBB was cool.

Does it sounds like he started some interesting movement that's more than just the “anti-cloud”? Right wing IT? * private property (run it on your own hardware) * no vendors taking care of you, and taxing you 50% just because you don't know ssh and iptables * real education(Linux, networking) vs indoctrination about “clouds in a stratosphere” and vendor specific “Serverless”
