The Pharcyde — “Drop”

For this video, Spike Jonze forced the group to learn the lyrics backwards for weeks to make the visual effect work. ⏪ 🤔 Fun fact: The shoot was so grueling that Ad Rock from the Beastie Boys had to show up for moral support, and they had to hire a professional linguist to teach them how to pronounce every single syllable in reverse without losing the flow. 🗣️ Did you know? 🤯

👍 HipHop created some of the most exciting, creative, funny, crazy, cinematic, dope music videos. Also love the cameos in HipHop (Ad-Rock and Mike D in this video)

The Pharcyde “Drop” ... backwards, which is really forwards LOL
