Car guy here, and this is the fun part of AI for me. Turning "how does it do 0-60 that fast" into something you can actually poke at beats any spec sheet.

A whole app on the Roadster physics, now that is a fun rabbit hole

Just need awesome music.

This is so insightful.

Can we use the same for any other physical shape e.g. F1 car, bicycle on ramp?

super cool

Cool 😎

I want this one

250 Kg compressed gas can make 2000 kg car to jump ones or twice. But how can it let the car fly unless and otherwise it's "Mass is reduced to zero"? Is not this clear anti-gravity hidden in plan sight?

a reversible timeline for the roadster is cool, i just want the same feature for my 2021 altcoin buys ⏪

ok i checked the roll inertia they assumed. 850 kg m² is close to a uniform 2000 kg slab 2 m wide and 1.2 m tall, which gives about 907, so its sane. only thing id change is the constant mass, tesla said about 250 kg of air and thats 12.5% of their car leaving thru the nozzles

A good test of whether you understand something: explain the physics in 90 seconds to a curious teenager. The parts you can't say simply are the parts you don't understand yet. Go learn exactly those, then try again.

🤩🤩

Thanks for sharing this. Super cool.

i watched a roadster use thrusters and my wings feel like budget equipment

Funny that the most hyped car launch of the year needs a physics explainer. When the demo looks like CGI, the explanation becomes the proof.

என்ன ரொம்ப நாளா ஆளையே காணோம் இந்த பக்கம்.

details aint right? the exhausts behind is of the thrusters too

Nine years later, the Roadster finally has something you can launch.

@AravSrinivas why does gravity remains same?

awesome

Wow, gravity's lawyers will be in touch ! 🤯
