This is one of those “You had to be there” moments.

Truly

Preble Jefferson can see 5 seconds into the future. When government agencies become aware of his skill, he'll do whatever it takes to protect his family. “Calling this a thriller is a bit reductive...The most interesting novel I’ve read in a long time.” --JDC

No one had ever heard of a “flash forward” or a “flash sideways” until Lost. It was an entirely new concept that others tried to copy but never mastered.

This scene was actually what made me a LOSTie. But the kicker was that I had to wait until the show ended up on streaming to see the first 3 seasons. Beyond any of the mysteries, this was a character driven show and no one can argue that aspect wasn’t anything but perfection.

You didn’t even post the actual plot twist lol the twist was when Kate showed up, which revealed it’s not a flashback.

one of the best cliffhanger of all time

This is why I think Through The Looking Glass > The Constant. I sat in silence for minutes with my jaw on the floor. The devastation of working so hard towards something & then seeing the result not be what it was supposed to be was so heartbreaking.

I still remember watching this live. Once this episode ended, I just sat there. Confused. Pissed. And I wanted more. I wanted answers This was a masterclass twist. 10/10 acting, drama, and moved the plot forward so damn much. Fuck it I'm rewatching this!

Been a long time, can you refresh my memory - what was the twist here?

Biggest holy S moment in a recent tv show!!! Epic! ✈️ 🏝️
