I would've enjoyed the show's porch scene more if they waited until after they were completely done with Season II. It almost holds no weight, despite that Pedro & Bella gave powerful performances.

Ellie asking about Marlene and Joel crying was what the game needed honestly. Joel saying he loves her makes his arc feel more complete and full circle. But I do love the tragedy in the game for Ellie and Joel is that neither were enable to tell each other they love each other.

It was one of the very last scenes in the game. It’s arrived way too early.

I love how they did it with the hospital flashback scene and the end.

The game did it better honestly
