For those who don’t get YouTube golf, watch this: Scottie Scheffler is normally pretty reserved. But get him on the golf course with a normal dude like Bob, he opens up. He is never this relaxed in interviews. He talks about his stint in jail and has a good laugh about. He can tell a story when he’s not talking to a pro. It’s crazy but sometimes the best interviews are when it’s not a pro journalist.

LIV Golf has announced their biggest signing of the season…and it’s not a player. It’s Rick Shiels. Does this signing move the needle for you? Rick is a huge YouTuber and influencer, but not a pro golfer. But with huge pro golfers not moving the needle for LIV…maybe this will. He won’t be playing, of course, but will be providing coverage and content on his platforms as well as LIV broadcasts. My take: This is smart.
